Avenue Kitchen + Bar

I decided to try a local, lesser known pizza spot. I was pointed in this direction and was not disappointed! The first bite was definitely my favorite! The sauce is fantastic, some of the best I’ve tried! This isn’t usually the style of pizza I go for, but I imagine those who tend towards the thicker, square style, will be quite pleased with what Avenue Kitchen has here. There’s lots of cheese, a little too much for me, and it has ok flavor. It started to be a bit much after a few bites (lots of dough and the lack of flavor in the cheese) and I found that I was primarily interested in taking bites with just the sauce and pepperoni (solid solid pepperoni). Overall, I’d say this pizza is absolutely worth trying. If there is an option for just sauce and toppings, I’d go that route in the future, but if you’re someone who enjoys pizza, this place is certainly worth a try!
