Baba Louie's Sourdough Pizza

Loved the sourdough crust. The sauce was very good. But the cheese left a lot to be desired. Only margarita pie was available for cheese, which we know has a score cap. Overall good.

Crust is the highlight here. It’s super thin, but it has good chew and is really crispy. Cheese is delicious and creamy but minimal, which I don’t mind. The sauce is good but tastes more like a marinara sauce than a fresh tomatoey pizza sauce. If I liked the sauce more, it would be in the mid to high eights.

Amazing slice perfect amount of sauce to cheese ration easily in the 8 club. Crust is crunchy but also has a tad of fluff, amazing!

Solid slice. Good crisp with he sourdough adding a little something extra. Sauce had good tang though there was a touch too much for my liking. Would have been in the 8’s otherwise.

Interesting take on “pizza” - more sauce than cheese, and sour dough bread is a change up as well. Eclectic options like shrimp/ham/pineapple or pesto/potatoes are a choice that maybe have a cult following but IMO seem (and taste) sac-religious for this pizza purist.

Over-rated hipster fancy pizza. Came out cold when it should have burnt my face off. Crust was best part of it.

Sourdough brings it. Both crispy and chewy. Sauce drives the taste, with good hint of mozzarella. Well done fancy pizza with a twist.

Fine pricing, brick oven, thin crust.

My favorite pizza joint on the east coast. 8.7 all day long, every day, twice on Sunday.
