This wood-fired pizza at Bacaro Italian Tavern fell a bit short of expectations. The undercarriage was on the lighter side, not quite cooked through the way a true wood-fired pie should be. Cheese distribution was solid and even, but the sauce leaned a bit too sweet, throwing off the balance. Overall, a decent effort, but far from what you’d hope for from a wood-fired pizza.
