Bacino's of Lincoln Park

Atmosphere was excellent, food was also excellent. The place seems like it doesn’t get enough raves…the place has been in business since ‘76 that alone tells you what you need to know.

Pizza is good, it’s flavorful and the pizza size options offer are great! I had a bambino sized spinach deep dish and it’s a great portion for me! As an appetizer we had Buffalo wings and mozzarella bread and it was delicious! Downs side is they forgot to give me my sprite but it was just 2 guys working and they were super busy. They need more staff to accommodate the clientele other than that it’s a great pizza place!

This is some weak pizza. Sauce is very acidic, no crunch, no flop. All cheese and a lame crust. We would have better off getting dominos pizza.

Great muzz, solid, crunchy crust. Average sauce and no flop. Decent slice.

Best deep dish in Chicago. Lou’s is great, but Bacino’s has it beat! Salads are great as well

I'm not sure how Bacino's flew under my pizza radar for so long, but wow, what a gem! I stumbled upon this place browsing yelp. Obviously taking 2 seconds looking at photos, they're known for their stuffed pizza. However, I didn't see many thin crust reviews. So what did I do? I got both. Cheese lovers, add this place to the top of your list. They are extremely generous with the cheese on both styles. The stuffed was amazing; avoiding the sogginess of other places with a maintained crispy crust on top and bottom. This is a flour based crust, which I prefer over rivals with cornmeal. What I liked about the pepperoni and sausage stuffed was how it tasted light. I didn't feel disgusting after eating it like other pizzas. (I'm not going to go into detail about their "heart healthy" famous spinach pizza, but google it or ask them about it!) The sausage was good, not the greatest, but well-seasoned and juicy. The sauce was savory and natural tasting. Now the thin crust, it tasted very similar to the stuffed, but obviously executed differently. It was super filling for a thin crust! You really can't go wrong here at Bacino's. It is also rumored that Bacino's is a sister location to Giordano's dating back to the 70's. I give Bacino's the edge though on this one. It is a "need it" on your pizza list!
