Badamo’s Pizza - Dormont

This place is one of my go tos. Dormont has some crazy good food and this is certainly one of them. I prefer their Sicilian pie over the circle here. I usually get half pepperoni, but for the review sake I have to stand on business and keep it cheese only. This is one of the very rare pizzas where it definitely tastes better with pepperoni. Some of the bites are a little too saucy, and I’m a huge sauce guy. The crust is on point and the cheese hits the spot too. I just wish there was a little bit more balance with the sauce and other parts of the pizza. The saltiness of the pepperoni usually allievates the feel of the extra sauce, but you can read about that on my burner OneBite account.

Ordered pizza well done. It was cooked perfectly. The dough was very. The sauce, cheese and pepperoni tasted very good.

Amazing. Sicilian is unreal. Amazing amazing amazing. Crust, taste, sauce, cheese, everything.

Wanted it to be good but overall bland. Tried the square and the margarita and both were lackluster.

6.3 is a criminal score. Must be based on Campitis that used to be in this location. New place does it right. One of the best in the city.

Arrived cold, crust was hard and tasted like frozen pizza crust. Cheese had no taste, very little sauce. Pepperoni barely cooked.

Crispy thin pie. Good sauce, chewy cheese, great Pepperoni. In my opinion the crust is dry and could use some flavor.

If I could choose only one word to describe this pizza it would be: greasy. This pizza pie got some major grease spillage. Might be able to swim in a pepperoni pool of grease if you really wanted to. Drippity drip all over the place. However it does have some ok taste. Good not great. Falls below other pizza in the area.

Unique crust. Fairly thin and crisp but has nice sponge quality on the interior. They you load up on high quality cheese and the pepperoni mini grease bowls are always a good sign. With the thinness of the crust and heavy dose of cheese/toppings I would hope to see more sauce to cut through the dairy and compliment the crunch.

Excellent light crust. Sauce very tasty. Cheese was the loser in this though. Very heavy. Solid pepperoni though.

Guest review from my good friend, Cameron. He gave it a 7.3, claims this pie isn’t as good as it usually is. Personally, campiti’s is easily one of my favorite pizza places in pgh, without giving it a onebite review I’d say they’re an 8.9

Good cheese and good sauce. Great crust.
