I’m afraid the new ownership has hurt this establishment. The crust now appears to be premade (frozen?) and the service was lackluster at best. I’m no longer a fan of

SW FL is a long way from Chicago. This is no Pequod’s, but it is delicious nonetheless. Has most of the typical deep dish style flavors including a cornmeal crust. Not as thick, but the cheese and sauce were on point.

High quality slice of Deep dish! May have gotten a little boost since they gave us a free large thin crust cheese pizza as well but overall it’s a good slice and we will come back.
