Great well rounded pizza. Crispy but not excessively so, cheese has a great flavor, wish it had a tad more sauce

Best pizza in New Haven!! White clam, brisket, mashed potato and of course plain cheese are all Off The Hook!!! Super thin, crispy crust, perfect cheese to sauce ratio, cheese and sauce both taste great. My favorite by far. Enjoy.

Great atmosphere melts in your mouth paper thin crust great flavor just enough salty flavor

This is the mashed potato pizza. It was good but my rating was based on the cheese pizza.

Had a “the Carnivore” (pictured), “portrait of New Haven” and a basic cheese pie. Great Pizza!

When it comes to New Haven, the char is incredible, the cheese is incredible, literally everything about New Haven pies are very special

The mashed potato broccoli pie was unbelievably good.

Cracker style pizza, pretty good, decent sauce and cheese. Overall solid

Cheese and a mashed potato with bacon were amazing. Thin crust allows flop but hey I can’t complain. Great service and atmosphere. Sat above the brick oven so we had a fantastic view of the pizza makers. Great place highly recommend!

Photo is the lobster pie, but I’m reviewing the cheese pie which was very good. Very thin, nice crunch to crust and overall very tasty. Definitely a unique style and one of the must try places in New Haven. The cheese pie over the lobster, especially considering the prices

Enjoyed the beers and chat with the other BAR-goers. Pizza itself was enjoyable

BAR was fantastic. Far superior to Sally’s which changed owners, and slightly above Modern.
