Thankfully one of the New Haven spots saved the day! Bar Pizza was phenomenal. Crust: perfect. Sauce to cheese ratio: on point. Tad bit or flop and a little oily knock it below a 9, but overall, would definitely make this my spot for a pizza night out! From the GF, on the buff chick: she liked the touch of oregano. Liked the buffalo sauce, but not overpowering. Service was solid.

Best pizza in New Haven!! White clam, brisket, mashed potato and of course plain cheese are all Off The Hook!!! Super thin, crispy crust, perfect cheese to sauce ratio, cheese and sauce both taste great. My favorite by far. Enjoy.

Cheese and a mashed potato with bacon were amazing. Thin crust allows flop but hey I can’t complain. Great service and atmosphere. Sat above the brick oven so we had a fantastic view of the pizza makers. Great place highly recommend!

Photo is the lobster pie, but I’m reviewing the cheese pie which was very good. Very thin, nice crunch to crust and overall very tasty. Definitely a unique style and one of the must try places in New Haven. The cheese pie over the lobster, especially considering the prices

BAR was fantastic. Far superior to Sally’s which changed owners, and slightly above Modern.
