This pie is so big, they have to cut it into 12 slices! Not to mention, under $12, so lots of bang for your buck. This is a unique-tasting pizza which is causing some polarizing scores. The cheese is extra thick with a stringy consistency but one of a kind texture and very interesting flavor. Not sure what blend they’re using but it’s completely different from generic pizza cheese or fresh mozzarella. Upon first glance, this pie appears to be excessively oily, but it seems to soak into the extra cheese and not drip as bad as you would think. I really like the sauce, another unique flavor, somewhat sweet, a little tangy, definitely stands out from your average pizza sauces. While the dough is fairly thin, it’s a little floppy, but not too bad; could definitely use some crisping. As long as it doesn’t affect the crust, which is light & airy, exquisitely crispy, absolutely divine. Everything kind of works together in a weird way to give this pizza a distinctly unique taste. Maybe a tad less cheese, control the grease flow & a little crisping and this pie could slide into the mid-to-upper 8s. But it’s very good as it is and definitely worth a try if you’re looking for a pizza that differs from your average run-of-the-mill pies.
