Barley's Taproom & Pizzeria

Stopped here in Asheville, NC and grabbed a pepperoni and sausage. Fantastic cheese, cheesy af 😋 Good sauce, lots of flop though ... still good 🤘🏻

Solid bar pizza. Liked the mozzarella taste. Kinda or greasy. Lotta flop.

This picture is unfair, alot of flop because it was very hot still....my second piece was very crisp...good pie

Nothing special but fairly solid

It’s located on the main drag in downtown Asheville. There’s some street parking but there’s also a parking garage across the street at the Aloft. Not much flop at all with this one. Decent crunch on the bottom. Not much flavor from either the cheese or the sauce. I’d say it’s college pizza but the price puts it out of most students budget.

Bland. Bland crust basic cheese with not much browning (low quality cheese?), not soggy, very floppy, bland crust. Convenience pizza.

Remember rookies, cheese is the gold medal slice. I liked this pizza. Big flop but still crispy. Let it be noted I ordered a single slice. Cheese is tasty and sauce is good. My slice had some doughy crust on the end but it wasn't bad. Loved that they spice the pizza and I consider that a big boy move. I would come back, especially if I was drunk.

Cheese was very good. Lots of crisp on my pizza. I dont agree with it being a "drunk soak up the beer pizza" not greasy enough for that. Wish it had more sauce but overall not bad!

Under cooked on the bottom, need 3-4 more beers to get on the 6’s...

My toppings are on the right and this is standard for me. Healthy portion of toppings, delicious Italian sausage, vibe of the place is great with a TON of beer options... lots of flop, but still good. Would return. It’s good pizza.

One bite, everyone knows the rules. Very good pizza, unique Italian sausage that really complemented the cheese. Father Portnoy should pay this place a visit

Bland, nothing pizza

Above average pizza. Not much cheese or sauce but a good equalizer. Solid crust. Great atmosphere.

Good cheese. Thin crust. Nice light sauce

Wife likes the crust. Did have a big flop with the toppings but it’s nice and brown on the bottom. Good sauce flavors.

Very crisp crust. Nice stringy cheese. Very good texture and minimum flop given the amount of meat on it.
