Basic Bar & Pizza

Excellent New Haven style pizza. White pizza with pepperoni. Took our slices before I took the shot, but excellent pizza. Thin pizza with great under carriage and crust. Just floppy out of the oven, but firms up when it cools a bit. Must have in San Diego.

Sorry forgot to take pic before we started eating. Marg pizza from here is incredible. New Haven style. I’ve had other pies here that are just okay but the margherita one is insane

Smaller was better for limited flop, crust was amazing, good crisp and bite, great coloring, still a little flop, sauce was fresh and balanced, great spot, coming back for sure

High 7s for taste but man the flop. -2 for flop.

Good char. Good tang. Would house a small” everyday.

Oval shape which is interesting, great undercarriage, solid cheese and sauce. Pretty impressive pizza

Based off the New Haven, CT “Bar” pizza it is easily the best in Southern California. However, it’s still in Southern California

like cartoon pizza in the best way- cheesy, stretchy and delicious

Best pizza I’ve had in San Diego. And right next to the ball park… phenomenal

Super thin, but the crust has a great crisp. Chewy cheese a little zest on the sauce....Frankie, this is my style. The char puts it over.

really good. light but tasty. everything is solid. only thing that would improve this is a tangier sauce. a bit to sweet. very very solid, can easily down a whole pie. worth a 20 min drive.

Great slice of za, excellent sauce. We got the “so meaty” and loved it. Crust was good but floppy.

Kinda chewy. Prez wouldn’t be into the texture. Taste was good. JoJo sauce on the side saved the day.
