Basile's Pizza

I'm not sure what it is with the name, but this place puts artichoke Basile's to absolute shame. Basile's is located on a busy corner and head all of their doors wide open when I went there so you could just walk right in, mind you and this was in the middle of winter! LOL Lots of foot traffic and not necessarily of the best kind, as a panhandler actually asked me for money inside this location to buy a slice of pizza. Since I assumed that wasn't what he actually wanted the money for I told him I couldn't help him, he then went and asked the guy behind me in line. To my surprise the guy working there actually gave him a slice to get him out of everyone's faces, and then told him to have a nice day, which was pretty much a nice way of saying get the hell out of here! Lol! If this isn't a New York slice, then nothing is! Absolutely zero flop and tons of crunch. I can see why lots of people are in the eights on this, but if they want a friendly reminder to what an eight truly tastes like they should take a trip to 10th Street Pizza, as it's clearly Superior to this product.
