Beggars Pizza - Bolingbrook

Decent pie for a chain. Not too much flavor, but great crust and they don’t hold back on toppings and cheese.

I always enjoy beggars for what it is. I crave it sometimes when I want pizza, well… thick. It’s a chain but it’s rather consistent and you know what to expect. Always request well done, or if you’re ordering online “brown cheese”. It’s the only way the dough gets crispy enough. However, it has a good amount of sauce and toppings. Sometimes I think the sausage chunks are too big, but you get a lot so I won’t complain. Sauce is savory and well seasoned. Price is decent too. If you want some weight to your thin crust pizza, Beggars is the best spot.

I ate a lot of Beggars Pizza as a kid and I remembered it to be one of the best. Unfortunately it did not live up to my memory. There isn't a ton of flavor in the sauce or in the pizza in general. Not horrible, but not as good as I remembered. Maybe it's the location? This Beggars has only been open a few years. Who knows.

Tasty sauce with ample cheese!

Not hot and had to wait way too long. Isn’t a slice supposed to be hot and ready to burn your tongue on?!?
