Beggars Pizza

Got from CWS game. Not impressed

Very heavy on the cheese and grease. It’s a niche pizza, they lay it on thick for sure. If you like a ton of cheese then this is your place. Just not my style. Definitely recommend getting it well done.

My son’s favorite. He says 9.5. I’ll go 7.5. Just got slices, not a whole pizza. I think it makes a difference here. A whole pie they load up, but slice is basic but good. He said cheese stick was typical.

Very cheesy slice! So much so it’s hard to grab a slice. Dough is solid, but sauce leaves little to be desired. I’d pass on Beggars - no matter what Pat Disabato tells you

Pres called Beggars a “zero pizza” circa 2013 at Standard Bank Stadium in Crestwood. That was a thin crust slice though. The deep dish is not anywhere near a “zero” pizza. I’m really surprised how good this pizza is. The cheese and sauce are mixed well and the crust is in that perfect range between soft and firm. A Pat Disabato favorite!

Loaded with CHEESE!!! Good pizza. Especially just around the corner.
