Unfortunately, heading in, I knew that a lot of Hoosiers have decreased this pizza’s rating. A lot of complaints have been about it being too greasy, too big. Yes. This pizza was greasy, cheesy, big. The elements of a pizza that make a pizza a pizza. It had a great sauce and the slice was just the right size. The crunch was spot on and the fold was marvelous. All in all, Bella Pizzeria has the best damn pizza in the city of Indianapolis, probably the state of Indiana. High praise for pizza that’s made the right way.

If we are rating just the dough and crust, it would get a 9.5 but with not enough flavor, no flop but a little too greasy.

Really good. Maybe order two slices if you want a full meal though. This was sort of snack/appetizer to hold me over as I just woke up in the afternoon and had a dinner arrangement a few hours later. I love all the Bella’s Pizzerias in the area.

Sauce is good, dough has decent crispness(little flop), cheese is good. It was a bit greasy but not terrible. Overall this was a pretty decent slice that I would have again.
