Best Pizza

My new benchmark Pizza spot some might say Lucalis is better but try getting in the best pizza for a slice shop is equally good

This is a good slice, but not as good as I was expecting given the prior reviews I’ve seen. Also, while this doesn’t affect the score, it’s worth noting that the service wasn’t great either. I’d probably only come back here if I happen to be in the area.

Quality ingredients, great crust

This is pretty damn amazing. Almost no flop, great char.

Thin slice that packs a punch with the cheese. Not much sauce taste. Front of the crust is nice and crunchy and the back has a nice softness to it. Environment and aesthetic is also top tier

Extreme pedigree alert - is this highest honors in Brooklyn or USA? Circle slice - not even close Square - absolutely spectacular, but not in conversation for highest honors anywhere, including Brooklyn. Primary focus will be circle, which is the app score. Circle first: Cheese - very neutral, no tang. Delicious, but due to other components, simply not enough taste to propel into top tier. Excellent chew. In the end, good but not compelling enough Sauce- extremely neutral. Hard pressed to find sweet or spice. Dough - pretty solid. Good taste and nice crunch. Not world class however. Overall - remarkably plain taste. Solid, but pretty boring. Execution - baking is excellent, taste is weak. Ratio - too little sauce By the way, circle is greasy Solid, but not travel worthy If this circle slice was a Philly athlete it would be Ron Reed. Ives once said, “Although I’m never happy with any composition, it gives me hope that I’ve done something well when the audience cheers with vigor.” Bonus square score 8.5 ! Sauce is a bit chunky, which is not my style but works magnificently here….a tad sweet and utterly magical in the way the pure essence of tomato breaks through with virtually no spice. Spectacular! Dough is incredible. Taste and crunch perfect. Cheese is subtle and fresh. Square is so absolutely travel worthy. Don’t hesitate to walk and knock down the old , young, or feeble. Or drive, double park, and hold up traffic for miles. Do what you have to do, and do it quick. Never feed square to a Giants fan. Their low IQ taste buds will reject this and possibly cause blood clots, brain fog and/or strokes

White Pizza is a must have. Incredible crust and flavors. The regular slice was not as good. Definitely pretty good but come here for the white pizza. Hence my high but not super high score!!

I’ll judge this solid classic pizza shop by its best slice, in my humble opinion, the Grandma!! Dave was way off on the regular in my opinion, but it’s a better than usual football pizza to quote him! ⭐️ 7.5 Cheese Pizza ⭐️ 7.8 Pepperoni ⭐️ 8.0 Grandma

Not the best today. Pies were coming out a bit undercooked. Sauce was an over-spiced with oregano which may have been better with a crisp or char, but tonight, there was none of that.

Their grandma's slice is unmatched when they cook it right. Regular slice is legit, I rated that one an 8.8 previously.

Best Pizza is great but not my favorite in the area. Tonight it was a bit off, not as fresh or something. And watch out for the sauce that comes with the garlic knots: spicy! I recommend the white slice and grandma slice, which tonight were much more flavorful than the standard plain slice.

Named appropriately. Square and regular both absolutely exceptional. Frank Pinello’s joint is a contender for “best” pizzeria in the tri state area.
