These slices had a tangy and herbal sauce which complimented the rustic-ness of the dough. This place is probably a little overhyped considering Dave’s 9.1 rating. But it is a solid no frills pizzeria!

As a wise man once said, Best is best! (well almost) Loved everything about this place. The exterior. The interior. The oven. The guys slingin dough behind the counter and most importantly, the taste! You say NY-style slice, I say go Best. Good flavor, freshness, crisp. Had it all.

I had really high hopes for this slice but I was let down . By no means is this a bad slice but it was not an exceptional one in my opinion .

This pizza was unbelievable. The slice was thin and had no flop. The crust was crunchy and had a nice char. The cheese was very fresh. Also the grandma slice was excellent

Ultra thin slice, almost too thin. Good cheese to sauce ratio. Crust was flat literally. Not the Best. Sounds like the grandma slice is the way to go.

The re review, went here years ago. Rated it an 8.7-8.9 then. Got a slice of grandma today, great sauce, dough and ambience. Just lacked a crunch and a bit too doughy… fantastic slice

Man, I'm gonna start off by saying that this pizza lived up to the hype! Frank's homeade mozzarella that he puts on his pizzas is so creamy. The sauce was savory and perfectly seasoned. Ratios was spot, and I couldn't believe how much sauce was on this pie, giving how thin it was. ZERO FLOP on the undercarriage with the perfect amount of crisp. Great flavors from their over 100 year old oven and that fresh basil. It's easily the best basil I've had on a pie to date. Crust was lite and airy, just like the rest of this pizza. Also had a slice of the white pie, which was even BETER and is in my top 2!!!!! Place is a gem and deserves to be in the 9s. It's worth the travel, and I can't wait to come back to try more of the menu and get another plain pie.

Very light but solid Brooklyn slice. Slightly disappointed by the sauce but enjoyed the crust and cheese despite lack of crisp

Made my way to Brooklyn. I ended going to Best Pizza and L’Industrie. Made my way to Best first. I had a cheese and white. I gotta say I wasn’t impressed. It is thin, could have been cooked better though. I didn’t find the sauce to be that good. Cheese was good. Nothing really that blew me away.
