Amazing crisp and char flavor

Zero flop Frankie! Great crisp, awesome undercarriage, perfect portion of cheese, perfect portion of sauce, super thin, not chewy but also not like a cracker, fantastic tang on the sauce, minimal grease from the cheese, and a serendipitous char on the crust. Having been here before, you absolutely have to order a fresh pie for the 9+ experience.

Way better then expected. Split this pie with my wife yesterday after doing our own walking tour of various Brooklyn breweries. This was a spectacular pizza. I thought it would be good considering the reviews but never expected this. Think but also delectably fluffy dough. Sauce was robust and full of flavor. Cheese was perfectly distributed througout. And I like that they cooked the mushrooms before topping the pie with those and the pepperoni. Added bonus of a little basil was great. We ate this on a public open area in front of an old church here in brooklyn. Probably the best pizza I’ve ever had, period. Great flop retention given how massive the slices are, but without all the grease and over-full feeling you would normally get of a pizza this large. These guys are one of the few restaurants that incorporates “best” in the name that actually appears to be correct about that statement. A must go if in Brooklyn.

Thoroughly disappointed; slice came out cold, floppy, and the sauce was chunky and borderline canned, almost like Chicago-style; not to mention that there wasn’t a single Italian behind the counter. Pretty disgraceful considering they’re serving the general public a pie that’s 2.5 points below Dave’s score.

Nothing in life is perfect but this is damn near next to it. There’s always room for improvement sure but can’t lie and say this is not the “best” pizza I’ve ever had. Incredible to say the least! A must if in NYC!

Solid slice. Felt like it was missing just a little oomph, but everything was done so well. Crispy and paper thin. I’d eat this everyday.

I can see why Dave gave this a 9.1. Sauce was fantastic, zero flop and Crisped to perfection. But I do like more of a doughy pizza and there could have been more cheese.

Considering the rave about this place disappointed with how pizza was served not even hot. Cheese wasn’t melted enough to even have pull. Sauce however was good and so was dough. Room temp pizza is what killed their score. Haters gonna hate.

Unapologetically legit pieces of pie. No frills needed. Under four dollars, perfect crackling crust and not overboard in the grease department. Will burn your mouth if you get excited too early!

Grandma is as good as it gets. Cheese was also very good, but the grandma was the standout. Every slice here was worth a try, all high quality ingredients. Frank is the man.

Disappointing. Was excited to try a 9.1 but it definitely wasn’t worthy of anything higher than a 7. Sauce was bland and it was just decent.
