Not your typical four slices of pizza. This is my second time trying this place. The first time I really didn’t like it, but I think I was just mad because the Eagles lost in the playoffs. This pizza fills you up fast because of cold cheese mounds. The cold cheese and chunky tomatoes in the sauce bothered me last time, but not so much this time. However, as I write this I just bit into a huge chunk of tomato. The crust is a piece of art and it’s amazing they can put so much on each slice while still maintaining a great crunch. I still don’t know how this is some people’s favorite pizza in Pittsburgh. It’s good every once in awhile, but I couldn’t imagine going much more than that. Come check this place out if you want something different and well executed.

Unbelievable. Lunchable pizza amplified to the max. The crust and sauce being cooked kept a perfect crunch. Cold toppings had me skeptical at first.. boy I was wrong! So tasty, and didn’t burn the top of my mouth. Can’t wait to visit Pittsburgh again for Beto’s!

Went to the oldest pizza joint in Pittsburgh and got some Ohio Valley pizza (where the cheese is cold and put on last) and I was impressed! By far the best version of OVP I’ve ever had! The crust was crispy and light, the cheese and sauce were incredibly fresh - I surprisingly enjoyed the the tomato slices in the sauce. The reason why this pizza is not rated higher? Because it’s a one time thing, I can’t see my self getting this pizza over a traditional pie.

Something different for sure. Not going to eat it regularly but it’s something to get in Pittsburgh. Cold cheese, crispy edges and a light chunky tomato sauce. Better than expected

Unique. Crust is good. I like the sauce, they put the cheese on cold after pizza comes out of the oven. Provolone cheese is a nice twist.

This ain’t it, but interesting novelty. Crust is perfect, sauce is essentially out of a can and the raw cheese is ok for about 1 minute until it starts to melt and you just have a slightly undercooked texture happening. Cool to try once, wouldn’t return.

Not sure if they melted the cheese on purpose but I was looking forward to trying the cold provolone cut. Either way, great pizza with great sauce.

Interesting style they bake it then put the fresh mozzarella after it’s out of the oven healthy amount of cheese really good crunchy crust not a huge fan of the sauce overall really good pizza definitely recommend

Shit I ate it so fast I forgot to take a picture. Here's what's left... cold toppings that fell off of a great crispy crust. Best pizza in Pittsburgh hands down!

Cold much better then hot. Hot actually sucked. Service terrible. Cold would be a solid 6.5. But service so slow and bad even though called in over 30 mins and they said it was a 10 mins wait time.

First time having this pizza. Decent cut, but nothing to write home about. Would recommend it to anyone who has never tried it, but it should be your only stop ever at Beto’s.
