Classic Neopolitan. Overall vibe of the place is amazing. The owner James is the real deal. If you like this artisan style pizza this is a must-try!

Everything made from scratch. Sauce is good, cheese is really good, fresh Basil is fantastic. The crust has a char and flavor that I like, but there is way too much flop for my taste...almost wet dough in the center. Lightening quick cook time and to the table, but the floppy crust is the only thing hurting this score.

I’m leaving a review here out of necessity. This is definitely the best pizza in Birmingham and I’m not sure what other people are thinking (rating papa johns 8.3, etc). This is an honest 7.9. I ordered a margarita pizza to go and was taken aback. Yes, this is neopolitan style with chewy crust; get over it. That is the way pizza is supposed to be. Does it compare to da Michele? Not really, but it is refreshing to have at least one good pizza option in this city, unless of course you’re like a lot of people and would rate Chuckie cheese 8+. Chewy crust, not too burned on edges/bottom, tomato sauce is fresh and straight up tomato flavor, cheese is evenly spread out and not just a few massive clumps, and most importantly there are no fresh tomatoes on it. The dough could use more starter, but overall it’s really good.
