Big Bon Pizza

Can’t remember being this disappointed. Basic, average, super thick spongy crust. Pizza Hut style. Pizza Hut flavor. Ordered a Margarita, and a pepperoni. Margarita was basically a thick crust cheese pizza. Don’t get me wrong .. it wasn’t bad per se … just nothing in the realm of a premium pizza.

Seemed rushed. First of all. Margarita pizza has fresh mozzarella. Second the oven stone not hot enough. Crust could be great. Pepperoni is very good. Sauce is good. Finally. It’s called Big Bon Bodega

Crust is great. Very light, and fresh ingredients. FLOP CITY. Hardly any sauce and olive oil is very strong. More of a good cheese bread than a pizza.

Best pizza in Savannah for sure! Have to try it if you’re getting pizza and eat it there to experience the good crisp.

Really good pizza! Made in a wood fire oven and had a really nice crisp to it. Definitely my style. I think it would’ve gotten a 9.1 if it was a little more well done. My only other flaw was that it had a little bit of flop. Very minimal. The crust was phenomenal. I definitely recommend this place!

Big Bon Pizza is now in the brick and mortar Big Bon Bodega Wed-Sat nights. Was in town and had to stop by and got a grandma 6x6 slice or two and a round pie (forgot to get a pic of the pie slices, doh). Sauce great. Flavor, better. Love wood fired. Not disappointed. New pizza guy too, Jay Langfelter from Buffalo Pizza truck fame bringing his game to town. Worth it. Scores may just go up from the old ones. ;)

Solid Neapolitan.

Great quality ingredients, good chew on the crust. Could’ve used a little more crisp on the bottom of the crust but overall great pizza.
