Big Daddy's Pizzeria

It’s a good pizza - as is most pizza. Almost everything on the pizza was just a little bland. Just a little safe. Inoffensive. Salt it. Pepper it. Do something. Anything!

Pizza was average at best. Under cooked.. wings was very small like quail wings..

Bee Sting Pizza. This was amazing. Great crust and flavor. Needed more spice but well done

Pizza was mediocre at best. My kids liked their personal pies, I ordered the wing it pizza and it tasted undercooked/not very crisp for wood fired. How this place has a 7.5 is beyond me, I make a better frozen freschetta pizza if I’m being honest

The pizza is cooked in wood fired ovens. It doesn’t have the look or crisp of wood fired, but the taste is excellent. The dough is soft and light. Sauce is on point. Very, very good pizza.

Always a must every trip to Gatlingburg

The crust was really crispy and had a really good flavor. As usual, I orded the pizza well done. Perfect sauce portions. I really thought the pizza pan was neat… it’s designed to catch the grease and not make the crust soggy. Really good pie, really neat place and great location with outdoor seating.

First of all, for wood-fired pizza, it was pretty good. A lot of times, if not cooked properly, the wood firing ends up drying out the crust. But this was not the case. Excellent char, great crunch. Amazing cheese to sauce ratio, I was actually satisfied with the amount of sauce on this pizza for once. However, there was zero undercarriage, and it could have used a bit more flavor, perhaps Italian seasoning or garlic. The classic pepperoni pizza was good, but was an overall forgettable pizza in the long run. Other pizzas were good too but that’s not what I’m reviewing. Would eat here again. 6.7. That’s a review.

Woodfired always gets a bonus. If not so greasy would have been in 8s.

Overall pretty good pie. Not the best, but a solid pizza, probably a little high on the price for the taste but overall I'm happy. Decent flop, not dripping with grease. Wish it had a little more char on the bottom for being woodfired. 7.1
