Big Fred's Pizza Garden & Lounge

The sauce has excellent flavor. Might have scored in the 7’s if not take out, but the crust lacked its usual crisp and the cornmeal, a Big Fred’s tradition, was lacking.

Good pizza cheese blend is good came out nice and hot crust is a little crispier than I like but overall good pizza

Cheese is very cheap sauce is bland dough is like card board if anyone gives this place high then 1.0 u never had good pizza

This is a weird pizza because of the crust. The sauce is really good. And the cheese blend, while tasty, has a lot of grease and congealed really quick. The crust is made with cornmeal which creates this sort of doughy feeling crust even though it's not soft. It's a firm crust but with no crunch. Strange texture. Very thin. Almost bar pizza. Not bad, but not my slice of pizza. With better crust this would be really solid.

Great zesty sauce with plenty of flavor to pull it through the seasoned crust and greasy cheese. The one thing that will throw you for a loop is the crust. A cornmeal based crust that when you bite in, it has a hard texture but no crunch. By the looks of it you would expect a bar style crust that is light and crispy but it is not that. 6.2

A lot of people love Freds, but for some reason it just doesn’t do it for me. 6.9

When it’s cooked right (recommend well done w/ extra cornmeal) may be best in town. Omaha original.
