Big Green Truck has a brick and mortar called Next Door. It's known in New Haven but not outside of it.
This had to be the thinnest slice at Apizza Feast, run annually by A Taste of New Haven. I'd say I regret not getting a toppings slice from New Haven Pizza Truck. They have interesting combos, as did New Haven Pizza Truck.
I feel like both are very similar in that they have more of a wood fired pizza type softer chew than the dryer crispiness typical of New Haven. And that's fine. It just seemed atypical of the style.
It's good but it made them lack identity in my book as distinctly New Haven Apizza. This slice lacked a good cheese to sauce ratio, but had the char and bake I like. On the other hand it was so thin it flopped like crazy.
That's not the be all, end all for me, like it is with other folks. But it defied my expectations. And it's just good solid pizza. But doesn't have the distinctiveness of others under the Apizza banner.
