Big Sal's Pizza

I like the hole in the wall vibes here. Bartender was nice and attentive for a Friday night. Pizza was very soft in the bottom, reminded me of Valentino’s dough. Cheese was more chewy rather than creamy. Definitely could use more sauce. Not a hit out of the park for me.

Not good pizza, as simple as that. Little to no sauce, flavorless cheese and poor crust. No crispness, almost gave me quesadilla vibes. Not to mention Sal forced us to get 2 toppings and proceeded to suggest we get cream cheese.

It’s a solid pizza. Is it great? No. But it does the job.

Great homemade crust, tangy sauce, perfectly cooked. Family owned for a long time. For Lincoln pizza, it’s up there with The Isles for best in town. Go get it.
