Bird Pizzeria

Crispy dense crust, phenomenal sauce and fresh tasting stringy cheese. Well worth it. Great vibes and service too!!

The ingredients are great but much, much floppier than I thought.

Pizza is good. Almost as good as I'd get at my go-to-spots. Wild demand is being created for just 'good' pizza. Also super hard to get whether you're made to order 3 weeks out or be at the spot, scan a code, place an order, for pick-up in 30min at that time. Whole thing is exhausting for just a good pizza. Way better easier options.

Half of the pie was missing cheese. I did not get what was advertised! So disappointed I should have requested a remake. To top it off I waited three days for my order. The sauce was very light and bland. The crust was light, fluffy and crispy. The ingredient’s were high quality. As for taste I would give the pie a solid 6. If you’re a pizza fanatic this place is not suitable for fresh take out you should dine in or don’t bother because take out is a HORRIFIC experience. They do not provide a phone #, you can only order prepaid takeout the day in advance with no option to cancel. Even if you arrive on time the pizza is cold, you have to arrive 30 mins early if you want it fresh out of the oven. The pick up window made it easy upon arrival. I asked the owner if they had any grated parmesan and he said “it’s on there”… has anyone ever been declined parmesan at a pizzeria before?! This is not a pizzeria and by no means do they provide a pizzeria experience through their service and capacity to consistently make quality pies. The take out experience was worst I’ve ever had in my life. I will never order from them again.

Ok, the wait was terrible, this place has blown up and my advice is you better go on their site and see what the process is to order from them. We wanted a couple of pies but they were sold out and we were lucky to that we able to get one pie! Well, the wait was worth it and so glad we were able to try it!! Artisan style pizza with so much favor! The sauce, the herbs, basil, cheese, char, I mean this was really really good pizza! This is probably the best pizza we’ve had living in NC. We cannot wait to have Bird again, this was a real treat! 8.0!!

All fresh ingredients, great tasting sauce, and their service is excellent and friendly. The one big knock is an uber-thin, floppy undercarriage and overly soft, fluffy crust. Another knock is their limited hours of operation - only open 4 hours a day, 4 days a week.

The flavor is phenomenal but I wish the undercarriage wasn’t so limp. I was expecting crispier. I had sausage, mushrooms and hot honey on my pie and let me tell you… hot honey made it. I also loved their use of fresh basil. By far still my favorite pizza in Charlotte!
