Got the regular pie and the Sicilian. I think the round pie is better, but both are really good

It’s judgement day….. If you have a nice atmosphere at your pizza joint, you automatically got an average pizza in my book. Black sheep had an amazing atmosphere and dining area, and my friends and I were very pleased with the service. Now for the pizza, it was really good pie! Nice crunchy crust, not a ton of flop, sweet tasty sauce, and some nice cheese. My only complaint really is that I would like my pizza a little more cheesy if the crust is that crispy. Overall I think it is an 8.4 really solid pizza. We also tried the pepperoni and that was even better than the cheese! I would rate that one a 8.6!

It’s judgement day for black sheep coal fired pizza, So far right off the bat great atmosphere the server we have here very very nice person doing a real good job at getting us what we need and always take care of us. forks just came out and let’s just say there were assorted in a very neat way some of that I would definitely contribute to what I’m going to score this overall pizza. So far everything That can go right is gone right it all just seems too good to be true so far we’re just kind of waiting on our pizza here and let me tell you what we did order more than 12345 pizzas so I mean we’re not gonna knock it against him a time because they’re working hard back you there and we’re just having a good time and it’s just all good good time golfing I golf on the TVs, awesome brew stand and overall just overall good experience whilst waiting for our food. Pizza just arrive this thing is one of the best things I’ve ever seen really good at first glance no grease, Great looking undercarriage. Space pepperonis larger than I thought around here we go out for the class of cheese slice and looking out for me and my body is beside me you’re actually getting a cheese so I’m gonna make a little so I trade with him one cheese for 1 cup gonna make for a good deal and that’s when I’ll give you my score. Now I’ve had my pizza devoured the great pizza. I first I had that I thought it had some New York flop and I took a more deeper analysis and found out that it was due today and obviously we don’t do our reviews of pepperoni around here as I mention my buddies around me how to classic cheese I took my classic first buy one but everybody knows the rules and why I was I am is the absolute crunch of the undercarriage the cheesy cheese and the sweetness of the sauce shrunk my palate is an experience I can’t I simply can’t put in the words but overall on buying everybody knows the rules it is judgment day I’m given the classic cheese an 8.4. However I did end up getting pepperoni pizza which I would tell you is better than the classic cheese and I’m giving the classic pepperoni and 8.7. Overall a very good pizza and to this point the best I’ve had. Definitely a spot I recommend to everyone that is in the area and an overall great score after all it was judgment day.

Best pizza I’ve ever had in my life up to this point. It’s my re-review because first time I had pepperoni. It’s a much different pizza just cheese. Absolutely incredible pizza! Worth traveling for. My best score to date. Love it.

Arguably the best pizza in Minnesota, black sheep is great. Very tangy but could use some more cheese. Crust is delicious. Pepperoni is better than cheese.

Nice coal fire flavor. Lots of sauce and well done crisp. This place is pretty good!

Char on point. Cheese side was good. Other side was half salami.

Fluffy, crispy, tangy, everything you would want on a good, hearty slice. Perfect char, sauce maybe a little too tanged and some of the tips of the slices were droopy but overall really good pizza and not all were droopy more often it was crispy even.

Cheese and sauce. The only way. One bite everyone knows the god damn rules. This is the best cheese pizza in MN. Prove me wrong.

Cheese is a 8.4, really good. The pepperoni has a little too much pepperoni so I’d give it a 7.8. But I’ve been to Sally’s, reginas, and now here. And every spot I’ve been to has lived up to the hype accordingly, Portnoy knows his shit. Kids show.

Very very good pizza. This was the #5. (Fennel sausage, hot salami, onion, and green olives) I’m not a huge fennel guy, but this sausage was very solid. Little to no flap and very solid cheese causing no Greece. Very light pizza as well. A little bit on the expensive side but well worth it. Me and 2 others split a 16-inch and a Caesar salad and some sodas for about $55 before tip. Very good pizza for before a twins/Timberwolves as it is only about half to a full mile away from Target Field and Target Center. Highly recommend

I will have to disagree with the Prez for the first time. Something about the sauce just didn't hit the spot. Maybe the tang was off?

Really great pizza, not my favorite in the Twin Cities, but Great nonetheless. I actually think the Sicilian is even better (8.1) but had to judge the original coal fired pies.

Sauce is overpowering, it’s almost too tangy it’s weird. Parts of the crust were too charred to eat. Great crust when not burnt. Perfect undercarriage. I like a bit more cheese. Oil was on point. Good pizza but can’t get past the sauce.
