Black Sky Brewery

Really wanted to love this place because it’s a heavy metal pizza brewery. Not much of a drinker but 2 out of 3 ain’t bad! Unfortunately, we went there on Magic the Gathering night and the place was full of people playing. Only tables available were outside on the patio and the rad metal vibes didn’t quite carry over out there. Not their fault, we just went on a weird night. Everyone seemed to be having a great time and the lady taking orders seemed to know everyone’s names so clearly it was a bunch of regulars just living it up. The pizza wasn’t really my style. More New Haven than New York. Too crunchy for my tastes and the flavors were a tad dry and bland. Seems like it’s totally worth it if there are bands and you aren’t visiting with your family on card game night. Extra points for atmosphere if you can get a spot inside.

Just very average. Every component of it is average other than the crust. That is crisp and very nice.

When you're going down on someone and hear a suspicious noise

Corpse Paint + sausage. Crust is no-frills but has the PERFECT amount of crisp. Sausage and tomatoes are very flavorful. And the ambience is exactly what I needed! 🤘🏻

I'd prefer a little more crisp, but overall it was really good.

Jalapeño cream cheese gonna put me on the toilet till next Wednesday

Asked for red sauce and cheese, they threw in blue cheese which I did not like, no red sauce, crust was ok, would have been much better without the blue cheese and maybe some red sauce, 🤬

Good crispy crust. Toppings and sauce & cheese tasted like a Red Baron to me. Fresher tasting than I like in a pizza I order at a bar or restaurant. Afterwards I saw the menu noted it was New Haven style instead of NY and that made more sense with the overall taste/cracker type crust.

Great pizza for a brewery. Crisp and amazing taste and good flavor! Highly recommend if in the are.

Great for Denver. Pros: No flop, little grease, good char, light crust, NY style, only $3. Cons: little light on sauce.
