Blackbird Wood Fire Pizza

Overall pretty good. Slightly disappointed but would definitely eat again.

Blackbird has a lot of potential. Great location. Good vibes. Amazing staff. It’s in the running for top 5 pizza joint in Fargo for sure. The biggest area for improvement is the cook time. As many other reviews have mentioned, the pizza was significantly undercooked. I personally expect and get excited for a little char when I’m going into a wood fired pizza shop. My pie had almost no char on top and zero on the undercarriage. A longer cook should bring out more flavor in the crust which was somewhat bland as well.

Really wishing I could give this one a higher score. The undercarriage killed this one for me-lots of flop and could have used more time in the oven. Also, the crust lacked any flavor. But, the sauce was EXCELLENT and the cheese was no slouch either. Great service and cool place. Would come back again, but I’ll probably ask for “well done” on the crust.

Alright Frankie. One bite everybody knows the rules. Crust is superb. No New York flop. Could’ve used more sauce. Good pizza. I’ll go 7.5
