This is hands down the best pizza in Denver. I been to all Dave’s 8’s and 9’s prior to shut down last year, this would hang with any of them. These days Dave would probably give it a 7, like everything else, but that’s likely due to killing his tastebuds with cocaine.
Regardless, Blue Pan pizza is a legitimate 8.7 on the REAL Portnoy scale. It craps all over Prince Street Pizza, famous for their square slices in NY. While PS is not quite Detroit style, it is comparable.
The ONE criticism I do have is the sauce is a LITTLE bland, I prefer a nice bite of red pepper flakes but the lack of didn’t detract at all.
Oh, and they are a bit pricey buttttt that’s Denver now. Thanks you despicable Californians.
