Blue Steel Pizza Marina Village

This place has a sister location in New Jersey that David Portnoy gave a nice rating to. 1. I was here when it was called Gatsby's. It was mostly known as a night club. Here now, they also have entertainment a couple days a week. 2. The pizza is Detroit style and very good pizza at that. Perfectly caramelized cheese around the edges. Dough was light inside, but thick and brown on the bottom. 3. The sauce to me, was one of the tastiest I've had in the last couple months, out of my dozens of reviews!!

Sorta silly, almost satirical pizza recipes for my taste, but master craftsmanship. Crunchy, light crust. Solid proportions. Better Deep Dish than anything Miami has to offer.

Really well made. Great sauce. Nice crunch. Still light despite being deep dish. Mine was delivered cold and needed to be thrown back in the oven so it could have been even higher.
