Walking up to the place I could feel a sense of a northern pizza place. What sold me on vibes is that right off the back I could smell the rough right after opening the car door, major plus. When I got home and opened up the box aesthetically the pizza looked different from what I’m used to. My first slice was fantastic, however as I start to eat more and more I became more critical. What I thought initially was a great blend of sauce and cheese slowly morphed into me not really favoring the amount of sauce that they slap on this big boy. I routinely ask for light cheese, but man this seems like they put 4 shreds of mozerella and dumped a tub of sauce on it. After the first slice, it got old. Wasn’t bad, but wasn’t great. A bit of crust flop but not too too much. The crust was definitely above average and has its own unique flavor. But lacks a crispness that I think would really bring it out more.
Not bad, definitely has its own unique flavor, but I can’t say that’s necessarily a good thing. Not your typical average pie but all the same... an average pie
Pros: crust, vibes
Cons: too much sauce drowns out the cheese
Recommendations: I asked for light cheese but what I got was light cheese and extra sauce seems like. Use less sauce in your formula. Also toast the crust a lot more.
