Disappointed and confused as to what the hype is. I originally rated it a 4.7 but gave points back because it’s “Buffalo style” which I don’t think I care for. To me, this has the taste and feel of a low tier chain pizza place. You could close your eyes and if someone told you it was a Papa John’s pizza, I would believe you. Sauce was not flavorful, not even a trace of garlic. I also asked for extra crispy and they did not make it that way. Dave should re-review this place, I was shockingly disappointed. You would like this pizza is Pizza Hut is your favorite pizza chain. That’s it. A 5.4 from me.

Buffalo, although not really talked about, has its very own style of pizza, and i dig it. The few people i know from the Buffalo area, regard Bocce Club as the best pizza in the city. I used to work in Buffalo about 5 years ago, and back then, i remember this place being kind of a shithole, but they have since freshened up the place. Looks snazzy as fuck now. The pizza though, typical buffalo pizza, thick spongey heavy and no real crisp to speak of except where the sauce and cheese spill over the crust and carmelize to the rectangular sheet pan they cook these on. They must have 8 double deck ovens in the back that look like theyre 60 years old and have never been cleaned and i like that sometimes lol. I can taste that dirty old oven in every bite of their pizza. The sauce is great. It’s slightly sweet, super thick, and paste like, but in a good way. Cheese is tasty, im pretty sure they use a quality mozzarella. On a side note, this might be my wife’s favorite pizza.

As soon as I took a single bite all I can think was "what's all the hype about"???? I'm pretty sure the reason bocce is popular as it is is because it's been there longer than the majority of people have been alive, and is resting on its laurels. The pizza itself was significantly below average with a run of the mill sauce and the cheese had very little flavor. A doughy crust with absolutely zero crisp and more flop than you can shake a stick at! What's even worse is that I ordered a quarter cheese and a quarter pepperoni to give them both a shot, and both were equally as bad.

On a trip to see my Bills play via Oklahoma. Solid slice, was hoping for more of a unique taste. Crust is GREAT and the sauce is solid. Would come back.

From Michigan tried this pizza. Heard NY is pizza capital in the US. It was pretty good.

Ordered the “quarter” cheese. A bit doughy, but I didn’t mind that. Pretty standard in terms of its crust and flavor.

Best pizza in WNY. Damn this is good pizza. Surprised Dave didn’t put this in the 8s. Granted he wasn’t able to taste it well done/ Double pepperoni, well done.

I don’t have any complaints about it. Nothing really stood out in a good way either though. It has good taste, good crust, good cheese. Solid pizza. 7.7

While in the Buffalo area, I was drawn to this place due to Dave’s highest review in Buffalo. He gave it a 7.5 but I easily give it a 9.2. This pizza was off the rails. I got mine done light well done as recommended in his review. I was most impressed by the tangy sauce and cheesy crust. So often, there isn't enough cheese and a bland crust. This cheese went all the way to the edge, so much so that there was no discernible crust. Huge fan of this pizza. When in the area again, I'll be ordering from Bocce Club!

Rookie score. Reminds me of.my favorite back home. Little less crisp then I would like. But really good pizza sneaking into the 8's
