Bollo Woodfired Pizza

Nice crisp. Great flavor. Best pizza around the Medical District in Houston I’ve found.

Ordered the Carne Trio. Good Charr and flavor. Bottom had flop a little on the doughy side. Borderline 7. Good service.

Good undercarriage and crust is perfection, perfect blend of cheese and sauce. Had it delivered so it was cold, but very good.

Like most of this style need to sit 10 minutes in my opinion but pretty solid pizza. Dough is good cheese is good I got the white version with olive oil and added meatballs and ricotta. Very good pizza.

Easily top 3 pizza places in Houston. Good dough, good sauce. Cooked well. Definitely a must try.

Bollo Classico Neapolitan style. Really really good pizza, might be the best in the loop. Nice char, crust is soft but not too thick at all. Cheese and sauce are great and it’s the type of slice that you wanna keep eating more. Very light. 7.8 for this one and 6.8 for the Bianco de Bollo which is the white pizza. Great spot to dine in too.

Nice thin crust ordered extra crispy. Some New York flop. Nicely charred crust.

Decent pizza. Ordered well done but still had a little too much flop. Good sauce but a little on the greasy side outside of the oil oil

Not great but not the best. A little undercooked but a nice different taste than your normal pie. I’ve had better woodfire pizza but this is solid.

Tangy sauce. Good cheese and exceptional crust. Light and fluffy with a little crunch to it.

I know what you’re thinking; ‘why did he post a picture of the box?’ Well I was starving and half way through the pizza when I recalled I needed to post a photo with this review.. Woodfired had me excited initially but this is just a mediocre pie. No real crisp on the crust and the flavor is nothing special. Great application on the sauce though 👌 I’d say this pie measures Bollo expectations. 6.5
