Bonello's New York Pizza

Solid pizza. Not much char on the crust or undercarriage yet little to no flop. Ingredients were good not great. Would order again for sure.

Very solid spot in San Pedro. Love the Michelangelo ninja turtle pizza painting and old school cash only vibe to the spot. Pizza was great overall, but nothing really stood out. Dough has a good crisp to it but the density of the dough can be a little much to work through. Cheese was good with a nice touch of oregano. And the sauce didn’t stand out much for me. Would stop by here again if I’m in San Pedro and craving a New York slice. Try it out.

Best Pizza in San Pedro

Really solid NY style slice. If you live close, definitely one of the best pizzas you can order. No flop whatsoever, but not a burnt crust either, so the crust is right in the sweet spot. Good sauce to cheese ratio, so the slice has really good balance, but there is nothing super notable about the sauce. Where this pie gets a low score however is in the cheese which has nothing notable about it to balance out the crust and sauce. In summary the ratios are good, but the ingredients are missing a little extra to make this a 8.0 or above pie.

Good pizza, completely different than the other Bonello’s. Very tight, thin pizza with a nice firm dense crust. Mild flavor compared to the flavor boom of the other Bonello’s but this one is more consistent with less crust. No public bathroom? Difficult to drink here.

One bite everybody knows the rules. Good crust. Perfect flop. Easy to fold. Sauce has a good tangy flavor. Good amount of cheese. Bottom line; well-made quality pizza.

Best New York Pizza in Southern California. I prefer buying it by the slice and reheated because I think it taste better that way. Definitely my favorite pizza place in LA.

Very hungry. Very good pizza! One bite everybody knows the roll, excellent flop, tasty crust, good cheese and sauce. I always come back to this place!

One of my favorites. Great sauce and cheese, great crust. Great flavor. Price is right. Try the happy rolls too they’re amazing.
