I think the scores are way too low here. It’s a solid, mild pizza. A lot of flop but the crust saves it with some excellent chewiness. All the Bonello’s have that super chewy crust even though they are all extremely different otherwise. This is a slightly sweet sauce that makes it mild by reducing the acidity. Too bad it’s so floppy, but very easy to eat a lot and nothing bad at all. Good group of dudes in there.

Bonellos is probably the best pizza option in the South Bay as far as I know. I get this pizza frequently. Todays wasn’t quite it though. Greasy, barely any sauce, flavorless. It’s not bad pizza, it’s just underwhelming (despite being the closest thing the South Bay has to NY pizza.) What changes could they make? 1, cook the pizza longer and get that oven hotter. The bottom was very blonde and the pizza had a lot of flop. I want a crispy leopard spotted bottom. 2, add more sauce. This pizza basically had none.

Great service and good price. However, not really cheesey all you taste is garlic and basil. It had a nice crunch to it. Not so good when its cold. Most pizzas I like when they get cold but not this one. I just wish I could taste the cheese.

This pizza is ok, the crust is crispy and flakey, the cheese is average and the sauce has a nice taste to it with lots of nice herbs like oregano but it’s neither sweet or tangy. This is not great pizza but for LA it’s towards the better side for what’s available here. The crust has a little different taste to it almost like it’s heavy on the yeast. This is a pretty good average pizza. 6.6 that’s a review.

Not a cheese slice as in true fashion. But here’s their secret. Sicilian. Double proofed, par baked and then finished. Their dough shines in this form. These guys are legit NJ born pizza makers. Family run. For the area, they can’t be touched.

Not great, seemed to be very over hyped. Overall quality didn’t feel up to par for a $15 pie. Was real disappointed since it had such great reviews...but it seemed to be on the little Cesar’s level for double the price. Plain, sauce had no flavor, cheese was mediocre, was not crispy. Sad!

I ate it all before I thought of doing a review. Got the golden metal slice and I think this place might now be my favorite. The whole family was in there. Even had a toddler walking around. Classic place
