Pizza Review
Under new ownership, Bozzy’s used to be owned by a few different people. It sat closed for a few years and I even thought about opening it up with a wood fired oven but plans change. I’m happy to be the first. At least you’ll know what to expect from a seasoned pro. I ordered the pie well done, it had some char on the bottom but ended up being pretty well cooked throughout. The dough was aerated well and fresh with a nice light crust. The cheese, not as fresh as I prefer. It tore off in chunks. The flavor wasn’t bad as evidence by using whole milk cheese. The sauce. Well, they tried. Nothing quite there that hits home. They had just enough seasoning to make it neutral. It wasn’t sweet, it wasn’t robust. I see hints of oregano but nothing much of anything else is there. Overall, it’s not bad pizza but in order to compete with the other 2 pizzerias on Union, they will need to step up their game.
