Pizza Review
A stones throw from Imperial, this place was unusually quiet on a Sunday. They aren’t known for hosting Bills games which could be part of the reason. This review is slightly skewed as I had to reheat my pizza on my pizza stone at home. I did try a slice before I did. Here’s what to expect… This is thin pizza with a light crispy (after the reheat) crust. The bottom didn’t have any crispness to it, even after the reheat. The pepperoni is standard and precut. I have been reviewing cheese pizzas for this reason. Unless it’s freshly sliced margherita, it’s pretty much the same. The cheese has good flavor, and there’s a good amount here. No disappointments. They played it safe on the sauce, and after taking the cheese off to inspect, I can see why. It’s watered down and easily lost within the flavors of the dough, cheese and pepperoni. As a bonus, I reviewed the Reuben pizza and that was really tasty, just needed a little bit more sauerkraut. 7.1 on the reuben. Overall, this is an average pizza and oddly enough, I might be back to eat in and try it fresh from the oven.
