I passed this place a year ago . So I decided to order a pie and to try them out . I’m a huge fan of brick oven pizza . So I decided to give these guys a try . The place was nice and clean . Parking is confusing because it’s right next to a gas station. If you need to fill up grab a pie or even ice cream . This may be a place to do that at . The place had a nice ambiance to it as well . Love the looks of the brick oven . The pizza was pretty good wasn’t expecting a “ high quality pie” from a place that seems to be more of a corporate pie than a “ mom and pop” joint . I have to add a few points because I didn’t eat the pie right away . 30 minute drive home makes a difference in pies . So I factored that in .
Sauce: was a okay . Your run of the mill store bought pizza sauce .
sausage: didn’t really have that “ bite and snap” . No Italian taste .
Cheese: here’s the grandiose of the pie . The Motz’s was perfect . Gave me hopes that this can be a 8 like pie .
Crust: another highlight . Nice crispy and had that perfect char burn that I love .
In all the pie can be better . I’ve had much worst (Papa Johns) . But for $13 for a XL pie . I wasn’t expecting anything in the 10’s . I’ll give this an 6.6 . I call these pies Party Pies . Ones you share with everyone .
