Brixx Wood Fired Pizza + Craft Bar

Brixx Pizza is a solid choice for good brick oven small pies. Kind of non-traditional, but very good. Solid wings, salads, and pasta too. Have been coming here for over 15 years.

Surprise with this score. I eat here often because the sandwiches are good. Never had the pizza even though it’s what it’s known for. Not a huge “wood fired” guy but the was good. Little flop at the tip but crust was perfectly cooked. It has a crunch and a great natural flavor. My criticism was that the mozz was just too much and drowned out a tasteless sauce. More sweetness to the sauce and we could have a southern pizza in the 8’s which is not heard of. Ordering a pie next time and passing on the (still good) sandwich!
