One bite, everyone doesn't know the rules so we tell em. Decent slice. Went with the "gold medal, 100 meter dash, straight cheese" as Davey boy puts it. Little greasy, only had a slice and it was a reheat so can't really judge it the same as the whole pie Portnoy got. Gruff, five o'clock shadowed, old gentleman took my order. Straight shooter, no nonsense kind of guy. I'll return and try a few more slices and we'll get another score. For now, 7.8, that's all she wrote.

This is the best pizza you can get here in San Diego! It’s the closest thing to NY style! The original is pictured here but also HIGHLY recommend their Whitestone.

Looks great, reminds me of the east coast but I would like to see a little more burn and the dough is tough. This is still the best pizza I’ve had in San Diego. West coast score 8.9. How it compares to NYC 7

Floppy but still had crisp. I think if you went just cheese it would be a lot less greasy and less flop. Killer NY pizza in California!
