Pizza review time! I was skeptical of Brooklyn Pie Co. at first. Mixed reviews on Yelp. No reviews on the One Bite app. Had to try it cuz of the name.
El presidente would say this pizza has a lot of flop but I like me a little flop. I like being able to bend the pizza but have a little crisp. This pizza hit both marks. It was floppy enough to bend but didn’t break or anything. It had enough crisp to give ya a crunch. The dough is stellar. It had a sort of “baguette” quality which I’m way into.
I put a little bit of salt on my dish and flopped the slices on it. You put a little salt on a plate with a good slice of pizza and it just gives it that little bit of extra pizzazz.
Long story short, this pizza is damn good- especially for being in Austin TX. The only other pizza we’ve had here is Double Dave’s and a pizza from BJ’s. Both sucked. BJ’s especially (obviously).
