Brooklyn Pie

Limp pizza, greasy, not crispy, too much undercooked cheap cheese. Taste decent

A little floppy. Good undercarriage. Good flavor.

Good Margarita pie.

Doughy....good for ingredients, longer cook necessary

Best part of the slice is the sauce, slight tang and tastes very fresh. Has very little flop. The dough is a little crispy but not overly crispy with a nice light chew. The cheese is good then the pepperoni slice good. Crust is a bit doughy for my taste, I wish it was a little more crispy But overall a solid pizza.

Pizza review time! I was skeptical of Brooklyn Pie Co. at first. Mixed reviews on Yelp. No reviews on the One Bite app. Had to try it cuz of the name. El presidente would say this pizza has a lot of flop but I like me a little flop. I like being able to bend the pizza but have a little crisp. This pizza hit both marks. It was floppy enough to bend but didn’t break or anything. It had enough crisp to give ya a crunch. The dough is stellar. It had a sort of “baguette” quality which I’m way into. I put a little bit of salt on my dish and flopped the slices on it. You put a little salt on a plate with a good slice of pizza and it just gives it that little bit of extra pizzazz. Long story short, this pizza is damn good- especially for being in Austin TX. The only other pizza we’ve had here is Double Dave’s and a pizza from BJ’s. Both sucked. BJ’s especially (obviously).
