Brooklyn Pizza

The best slice of pizza I’ve had in Jax/Florida. Sauce delicious. Crisp was perfect with that crunch. Would recommend ordering individual slices.

Cooked crispy as ordered. Very light. Has decent flavor. Typical neighborhood pizza nothing over the top. Good deal for 6.99 for 2 slices and a drink.

From first glance Frankie, it looks like complete garbage. I was honestly mad I bought and paid for a whole pie. Surprisingly, it’s not as terrible as it looks. Still not very good, but not garbage can worthy. Needs more cheese, sauce is a little sweet, but they actually did season the pie so I’ll give them that. Honestly when they give out slices in Styrofoam containers I knew not to set my expectations too high. Crust is actually semi decent Frankie. Still better than some Florida pies. Idk what is wrong with this state.

Standard NY style slice.. nothing really jumped out. Minimal flop, cheese was ok.. Sauce tasted a bit on the bland side, I personally like a tang in my sauce. All in all good slice for the area!

Large pepperoni pizza was over all a decent pie. The sauce didn’t stand out. The cheese blend was decent and had a great consistency, not too chewy or stretchy. The bottom crust had a good crisp with minimal flop, but the slices are still a fold in half eat. The outer ring had a great crisp and was solid on this pie! The dough held enough moisture to not dry out your mouth while eating the ring. That’s a review.

Pizza was pretty good. Wish it had a little more crisp to it. Will definitely go back.

My scale is really off pie wise. I actually got an ooni so I haven’t had anyone else’s pie in a while. This is probably the best I’ve had in Jax, I admire Pizza Cave and how unique their taste is but I’m a New York and New Haven guy at heart and this is easily the closest you can get to that here. I wish it was a bit crunchier and there’s a certain tang to the sauce that I can’t quite describe but the overall experience is about as good as you’re gonna get it for Florida pizza.

Nice big slices. Plenary of flop. Slice wasn’t over cooked. One bite everyone knows the rules. Sauce has a nice flavor that doesn’t overwhelm the pallet. Dough is thin and crunchy how I like it.

Sicilian was heavy on the garlic, ny pie was undersalted

Been here a couple times, good pizza. Average New York Style Pizza in FL. There are a couple better choices that are a little further away but this is conveniently a mile from my apartment. Wouldn’t travel for it, and still chose to travel for others but because it’s so close I still go from time to time. Review: Big ole Bartram Park flop but edge of the crust had good crunch. Not doughy at all, thin with good flavor, can’t tell if it was the cheese or sauce but there was definitely some tang. Wish the crust had more of a flavor other than just the char.

Well Frankie, one bite everyone knows the rules. Well cooked pie but not enough to give the pie a nice crunch that it most definitely deserved. I’m a huge toppings guy so I like it loaded and they definitely didn’t let me down. Nice and heavy slice. The crust was thin and I didn’t care for that too much. I enjoyed the hospitality of the Italian family that owned the place but sadly that doesn’t play into the rating of the pizza.

Crust was chewy, flavor was great though. Could t get over the lack of crunch in the crust.

One of the chewiest pizzas I've had. Crust is crunchy but undercrust takes some serious jaw work to masticate. Good cheese to sauce ratio. But the sauce has a unwelcome zing.
