Pizza Review
Fairly new to the pizza game, this joint has only been around since 2018. If you’re going to be so brazen as to call your pizzeria “Brooklyn Pizza” in New Jersey, your pies better back up your claim. Sadly, this isn’t even close. It’s thin, soft and completely void of flavor. You’d be hard pressed to find a more bland and tasteless pizza. You get nothing from the dough, cheese or sauce except for a little basil hidden underneath the cheese. That’s 3 strikes…you’re out! The dough might as well be water-damaged cardboard leading to a dry crust that tastes like it’s filled with sawdust. The cheese is as generic as it gets, lacking any real creaminess or flow. The sauce doesn’t have a single spice to give it any kick, punch, spunk or pizzazz. There just isn’t one redeeming quality about this pie except for the fact that you can add your own spices to bring it to life. Water has more flavor than this pizza. Load up on garlic powder, salt, crushed red pepper, ANYTHING to draw some taste out. This is an absolute insult to the borough of Brooklyn. They should really change their name to “Lynbrook Pizza” (my Long Island people know). But if you want Brooklyn style pizza, go to Brooklyn. This ain’t it.
