Pizza Review
All right pizza review time, quarantine style. Trying to do hit and runs. Get in grab and run. Stayin corona free in the 2K 20. So I got the regular Dave official slice and they also got the Brooklyn Square. For obvious reasons. So I’m going to review my more favorite of the two which was the Brooklyn Square. A.k.a. the L&B slice. If you know anything about pizza you know they started this trend. I was very impressed with the square slice. Real nice tang on the sauce nice and sweet. A good crust on the bottom although I think he burnt my slice a little bit too much but I can see how it would’ve came out normally obviously mine was reheated. The dough was nice and airy in the middle the way I like it. Good quality cheese. I was very impressed. They probably would’ve got a better score had I got a better prepared and not reheated slice but it is what it is. So I’m going 8.6 for the square. I haven’t tried the Jackson location yet although I attempted to about a month ago and there was a two hour wait and you couldn’t even get in the door. I don’t know about you guys but I don’t got time like that. So bonus time. As for the standard slice. Pretty standard fare. Maybe a little upgraded. Interesting thing with the sesame seeds on the crust. I was apprehensive but I actually liked it. Needed a little more sauce and the cheese was pretty good quality. Again this slice was also a little overcooked when he reheated it. And that’s saying a lot because I order my pies well done. So if you put a gun to my head and asked me to review the regular slice probably 7.7. OK back in the house until next time quarantine style.
