Zero flop, which there shouldn’t be any with this type of crust. I’d describe it as a “Brooklyn square” very similar to Detroit style. Slices like this can often turn into grease sponges. NOT THE STORY HERE! The only grease on the slice was cupped in the pepperoni as it should be. ZERO GREASE on the under carriage! VERY NICE! Great sauce, good tang and tomato flavor. The perfect amount of Basil. Really on the fence between a 7.8-8.0. Gonna roll with the 8 based on the quality of the ingredients and the complete lack of grease 💪🏻 Also this was def better than other slices I’ve ranked in the high 7’s. So 8.0 FINAL ANSWER 🤘🏻

Rookie score Frankie. Slice was good with some extra grease. Cheese and sauce combo was good, with a floppy undercarriage. Won’t blow your socks off but would stop by again if I was in the area. Got the honey De Niro slice on the side to try, pretty good.

This is hands-down the closest thing to a real New York slice I’ve had in California. The crust is thin and crispy on the bottom with just the right chew, the sauce has that perfect tang, and the cheese-to-sauce ratio is spot on. The pepperoni gets those crispy little edges that make every bite better. You can tell they really care about doing it right. If you’re craving authentic NY pizza, Brooklyn Square is the place. Easy 10 out of 10.
