Brooklyn Square Pizza

Great Sicilian style pizza!

3 hour drive- Stopped in and grabbed one round and one square. Round- good crisp, little greasy, and I am a fan of the sesame seeds on the crust. Square- fluffy but a firm bottom, spectacular sauce and just want to keep eating it.

Fluffy, light, tasty Sicilian. Very Good

Great balance and flavor. High quality cheese and very delicious sauce. Dough was very fluffy, similar to foccacia. Good crunch in the crust. I prefer thin crust, so I don't usually go for thicker pizza, but I can understand the hype on this one.

Prob my #3 square slice in the USA. They out L&B the original L&B.

Decided to do the review on the Grave’s Den (slices on the right) as this more closely resembles a “plain” square slice. Very good pizza. High quality cheeses, and a delicious fresh-tasting sauce. The dough used is delightful; if you are looking for a crisp undercarriage then please order a thin square pie. This place is worth the hype, just make sure to come hungry.

Wow.. just wow!

While score is great, I expected better. Maybe it was all the hype. Or maybe because it wasn’t a fresh pie and was a reheat (not sure how long out there, I’m here slightly past lunch rush). I like it a lot but don’t see myself driving out of the way to get it. If I’m in the area will definitely stop again and next time get a fresh pie to see if different.

Tried both the square and round slices. Ended up getting a round pie and loving it. Great flavor, thin and crispy. Why can’t all pizza be this good?

Great Sicilian style upside down pizza. Light dough but also cooked with crispy crust.

What an amazing spot! The pizza (and all the food) was AMAZING!! Staff is wonderful! The owner stopped by to Check on us- great guy!! We drove here from Syracuse and it was worth the drive!!!!

PHENOMENAL UPSIDE DOWN SQUARE

If you like Sicilian style this will be right up your alley. Slightly different from your authentic Sicilian but the sauce is very good and the cheese is thick and bubbly. A nice crunch with a super tender middle. A must try.

The upside down lives up to all the hype. Great crispy crust and one of the better tasting sauces of any pizza place I’ve been to.

This score would have been higher for this Upside Down Square if it wasn’t so salty. The sauce, mozzarella and crust are very good but whoever made this put too much Pecorino romano which is a salty hard grated cheese. Their vodka slice was salty too and their regular round slice is about pretty good but why the sesame seeds? Another disappointing review after driving 2 hours.

Extremely safe to say that this is the best square slice I’ve had in my pizza eating career. Everything is perfect from the pillowy cheese sandwiched between a slightly sweet and chunky sauce and the fluffy crust. I’m a 2.5 hour drive from Brooklyn square and have no shame or hesitation at all in making that drive to get a slice of this goodness. It’s a great slice but be prepared as these things are heavy but you can’t stop at 1, it’s just that good. Just wish the undercarriage had a tiny bit more color and wish the sauce had a pinch more of salt and some oregano, otherwise these guys are not playing around and the og upside down is a heavy hitter. I recommend this spot to anyone who loves pizza. Orlando was great and welcoming and made sure we enjoyed our meal. Definitely coming back
