Pizza Review
Route 39’s best pizza! On a good day you’ll see a thick yet crispy crust (on a bad day it’s on par with Central Pennsylvania’s illustrious pizza scene). Big flop on this bad boy every single time, the ingredients are top shelf and they want you to experience it. Sauce is tasty, a bit on the sweet side but not overwhelmingly sweet, the tang is there too. Cheese and toppings are fresh and tasty. Maybe they get them from Giant? Maybe not, because Giant is usually overpriced for the consumer but I digress. This pie might be the best value pie near Derry Township (that’s Hershey you tourist) and all of Central Pennsylvania’s Hanovers. Don’t mess around with your order. The fellas working don’t have a lot of time on their hands and you aughta know what you want before you call anyway. They seem like a good bunch of dudes. On the Central Pennsylvania scale this is a solid 7.9. Consistency with the crust (make it crispy dammit) would be an easy 8 something. Still a very good option when traveling the single lane route 39 or if you’re buying overpriced groceries at Giant. Side note: Bacon and Pineapple are the best combination on any pizza.
