Buddy's Pizza - Ann Arbor

This was my growing up pizza. Basically focaccia with sauce and cheese. So. Fucking. Good.

Definitely didn't live up to the hype!!

For Detroit style this is tops!! I prefer thin crust but this is as good as it gets for this style….salty cheese and a good bottom crisp! Love it

Ordered four square Detroiter. This is good stuff

Recommend by many, and it didn't disappoint. One fine square! Crispy good golden undercarriage.

Not as much flavor as I was hoping for, was also expecting a little thicker of pizza for Detroit style, crust does have a good taste tho.

Could’ve had more sauce coverage! Other than that it was a BANGER!

Standard cheese. Tremendous service. Not the best pizza I’ve ever had but first time I’ve had Detroit style. Would be a lot better if there was sauce in every bite but that being said, the crust was crisp and every bite was good.

Not my jam. Order extra sauce and eat immediately. Had a slice in the car and was much better than the slice I had after I got home. Disappointed to say the least. Garlic bread is literally 1 sub bun toasted with butter and garlic. Make it yourself at home. That’s a review.

Changed it up. Went with a veggie. Still solid Detroit Style.

Solid Detroit style pizza. Crispy, less doughy. Good stuff

Overall really good pizza. Quality ingredients, good flavor to the sauce, crust not dense for a thick crust. 8.1 for a non-NJ/NY style slice to be fair. Different style pizza. If I’m comparing the 2, this would still hold solid, but would be at a 7.3

Detroiter. Substituted tomato basil sauce for the original. Overall good pie. Not as good as Possum’s Pizza which is a little ways west of here.
